With Arby’s sales improving, operators add units
Arby’s Restaurant Group Inc. on Wednesday said that its same-store sales increased 3.8 percent in 2016, including 3.1 percent in the fourth quarter, the Atlanta-based chain’s 25th straight quarter of increases.
Now, those improving sales are leading to growth of a different kind, in the form of new locations. Arby’s last year recorded the first increase in unit count last year since 2008. The chain now has 3,342 locations after adding 60 in 2016.
