This Hotel Bakes Chocolate Chip Cookies Right on the Beach

Relaxing on a sunny beach in Puerto Rico really isn’t complete without an ice-cold cocktail in hand. But what about fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies? For guests at the Dorado Beach, a Ritz Carlton Reserve hotel about 45 minutes from San Juan, Puerto Rico, that’s very much a reality. Except, the cookies aren’t baked in a kitchen oven and then shuttled to chaise lounges; they’re baked outside, courtesy of a solar oven set in the sand, right next to those loungers.
