Robots cook, serve food at restaurant in China

No, it’s not in a science fiction movie or an old Jetsons cartoon. If you go to one restaurant in China your food will be prepared and served by robots. Wonder how much of a tip they want?

According to the Mirror, the cafe is owned by Song Jugang, in Kunshan, eastern China. A dozen machines are used to prepare the food, greet customers and wait on tables.

This actually isn’t the first restaurant in the world to use robots in such a manner. There are two others.

Jugang explained the robots cost about the same each as the yearly pay for one human employee, about 4000 yuan ($6,500).
