Report sheds light on restaurants’ hourly workers
A new study of America’s 78 million hourly workers sheds light on the foodservice industry’s strengths and weaknesses when it comes labor.
The “Hourly Worker Survey” by job listing and career sites Snagajob and LinkedIn reviewed more than 120 million job applications from more than 20 million applicants using Snagajob. It also analyzed Snagajob’s full database and examined millions of LinkedIn profile hourly job titles, company representatives said.
Research covered such topics as common job titles for hourly workers in foodservice, the traits of hourly workers that result in faster promotions, and the industries that compete for hourly workers.
