Parisian Icon Taillevent Expanding With London Brasserie
The restaurant is adapting the menu for the London palate.
Parisian fine-dining institution Taillevent is expanding to the UK. The two-Michelin-starred restaurant is preparing to open a second location of its brasserie offshoot, Les 110 de Taillevent, in London’s Cavendish Square, says Bloomberg.
Bloomberg notes that “restaurants from France have had a rough ride in London,” but Taillevent is facing the challenge head-on: It’s staffing the restaurant with London industry vets, and co-owner Laurent Gardinier tells the paper, “We’re bringing French gastronomic food from Paris to here, but we’re going to adapt it to what London people like.”
