Three Day Grand Opening Includes $2 Sandwiches & Big Barbecue Giveaways

New Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Mason Arrives for National Barbecue MonthMason, OH  (  May marks national barbecue month and the nation’s largest barbecue joint is here to celebrate. On Thursday, May 21 at 11 a.m., brothers Randy, Ryan and Kevin Daniel along with business partner Phillip Bostick will open a new fast casual option in Mason. To celebrate, they are hosting a three day grand opening to introduce the community to slow smoked Texas-style barbecue.

“It’s exciting to see our presence grow in the Cincinnati market,” said Roland Dickey, Jr., CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. “People really love our slow-smoked hickory barbecue and southern family style sides everywhere.”

Thursday, the event kicks off with the first 50 dine-in guests receiving gift cards worth up to $50. On Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., country station K99.1 FM will be on-site when one lucky winner will be chosen for a $500 gift card and three winners receive free barbecue for an entire year. Guests can also grab a deal with $2 pulled pork barbecue sandwiches. On Saturday the new location will offer all day merchandise giveaways.

“After tasting Dickey’s Barbecue Pit’s Texas-style barbecue, we knew it would be a hit in the Cincinnati area,” said local owner, Kevin Daniel. “Our location in South Lebanon has been a success and we’re looking forward to being in the Mason community.”
