Oak Brook, IL  (RestaurantNews.com) McDonald’s (NYSE: MCD) today announced that the Board of Directors has appointed two new senior management positions to drive the company’s turnaround efforts.

Effective Oct. 1, David Fairhurst will assume the newly expanded role of corporate executive vice president, chief people officer.
