How to Make a Perfect (Old-School) Chicken, Tuna, or Egg Salad Sandwich

Admit it: You love a good chicken, tuna, or egg salad sandwich. It’s okay; we’ve also got a soft spot for these classic deli salad sandwiches. They’re beautiful in their simplicity (this is neither the time nor place to go highbrow or artisanal). What really matters is that you choose the right bread, there’s an ice cold soda on the side—or a milkshake—and that they’re served with a heaping pile of greasy potato chips.
