Chef Jina Lee didn’t always know she was going to be a chef. When she was a little girl, she said ‘I’m gonna be an artist!’ But then she realized she wasn’t very good at drawing. That didn’t stop her from attending FIDM, where she did learn how to draw, but between scarce gigs designing for the fashion industry, Jina worked catering gigs, where she quickly discovered her love of creating the art of food.
