Artist Damien Hirst Unveils Pharmacy-Themed London Restaurant

Damien Hirst, the iconic British artist known for suspending sharks in formaldehyde and encrusting human skulls with hundreds of diamonds, is now officially a restaurateur. Hirst has teamed up with London chef Mark Hix to open a pharmacy-themed restaurant at the artist’s Newport Street Gallery; Pharmacy2 officially opens for business next Tuesday.
From the shelves full of various medications to the chairs and banquettes decked out with various colorful pills, the restaurant looks vaguely like the inside of a pharmacy — if your pharmacist was a very wealthy art collector, that is.…
