American Beef Palace Smith & Wollensky Expands to London

It’s the steakhouse’s first location outside the U.S.

Swanky American steakhouse chain Smith & Wollensky has made it across the pond: The Boston-based restaurant just opened its first location outside the U.S. Located just off The Strand in central London. The restaurant resides in the historic Adelphi Building.

Decked out in Smith & Wollensky’s usual green-and-white theme with plenty of mahogany, leather booths, and 1920s-inspired artwork, its two stories include a dry-aging room, two bars, two main dining rooms. There is also a private “Teddy Roosevelt Room” with its own dedicated bartender.
